Sometimes the moment was meant to be obscured!

    For something really unique have Matt create Polaroid Image or Emulsion Transfers. Whether it's for Commercial, Advertising or Portraits, this process can create a very unique message.

What are Image Transfers?

    Polaroid Image Transfers and Emulsion Transfers use Polaroid proofing film to "transfer" images onto watercolor papers and other substrates such as tile, wood, glass, etc.

Original or Extra Large?

    The original Image and Emulsion Transfers Matt creates are either 3 x 4 or 4 x 5. The originals are one-of-a-kind - no matter how many versions done - each one is different. These are beautiful for framing.
    The next step is the high-resolution drum scan to CD. These images can be used for anything from fine art framed pieces to high resolution four-color publishing.

Posters

    Posters are created from the CD scans. The layouts are output as Iris prints on a Strathmore(tm) watercolor paper. These image transfer posters are created individually so that means sizes are available from 8 x 10 on up.

Image Choices

    Almost any image (from original 35 transparency) can be used. If you don't see what you like, Matt can custom tailor an Image Transfer for you. Use the Contact Us page to send your ideas or ask if it's in Matt's stock catalog.

Unique Portrait Technique

    If you're interested in creating a very unusual portrait try this technique. Not all images are suitable for this technique - we recommend the images be created with this technique in mind.
